This Privacy Policy explains how Nerval, Corp. ("Nerval," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Palefò Tchala ("Tchala"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Tchala uses your Palefò account. When you sign in we receive: a unique identifier, your name (when shared), email (when shared, including Apple's "Hide My Email" relay addresses), and a profile picture (when available). We do not receive your password from any third-party identity provider.
The text or voice recording of any dream you submit, plus the AI-generated reply Mama Keke returns. Stored on our servers as part of your dream history so you can revisit it.
Basic technical signals: IP address, user-agent, viewport size, error logs, and timestamps. Used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
Because Tchala revolves around personal dream content, this is the most sensitive data the app handles. We treat it as follows:

We rely on a small set of vendors for infrastructure, content delivery (Cloudflare), email, and identity (Google, Facebook, Apple). A current list of significant sub-processors is available on request at [email protected].
Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Dream content is retained until you delete it or close your account. Operational logs (security audit, billing records) may be retained longer when required by law. After account closure, content is purged from our systems within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information. Most of these can be exercised from your Account Settings. For anything not available there, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days).
You can delete your Tchala (Palefò) account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion immediately marks your account inactive. Stored content — including dream history and Mama Keke's replies — is permanently purged within 30 days.
Tchala is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Tchala serves users globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. When we transfer personal data across borders we use appropriate safeguards.
Tchala uses browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (language, screen mode). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Clearing local storage in your browser will sign you out and reset preferences.
We protect information with HTTPS everywhere, password hashing, signed JWT tokens, audit logging, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice (in-app banner or email). The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
